A Million-Dollar Smile: 3 Important Points About Them In The Workplace

Getting that million-dollar smile

There could be more truth than you think into the term “million-dollar smile.” Research has discovered evidence of a connection between your look and how much is on your own paycheck.

In a study published by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, researchers found that good-looking men and women tend to earn 5% more an hour than their less attractive cohorts.

Studies suggest that a smile is an important element in the general impression an individual makes on the job, through a job interview and in situations outside the workplace.

The importance of a perfect smile in the workplace

All Americans say a smile is an important social asset, according to a study conducted for the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, whereas 74 percent say an unattractive smile can hurt a person’s chances.

A bright, genuine smile exudes strength, confidence and a willingness to open up to others. Conversely, if you’re unsure about your smile, it may impact the way you carry yourself.

But the reality is, few men and women are born with perfect smiles. The fabulous smiles you see on TV and in magazines are the outcomes of dentistry.

But you don’t need to be rich and famous to have your very own million-dollar smile. There are various alternatives, from smile whitening to straightening, fixing or replacing teeth. Many processes can be finished in two to three spans.

However, finding the ideal dentist to initiate the transformation is key to the procedure. It’s important to select a dentist who is trained specifically in the process you’re seeking and keeps up with changes in the field, Dickerson said.
